‘OHANA SUMMER CAMPS KONA 2025
Here are answers to our most frequently asked questions:
Can my camper attend a camp that is not for their age?
A. Not usually, but if you think your camper is a good fit and really close to the developmental expectations of a camp that is not for their age send us an email to check. ohanaselfdefense@gmail.com
Some of your camps are for a big age group, how do you keep the campers safe?
A. For activities that size matters in safety we divide the campers into smaller groups so they are competing/participating with campers their own size.
Do we have to show up right at 8am the start time?
A. No - you decide when your camper arrives and gets picked up. We usually start formal activities around 9am. If your camper needs more sleep, has an appointment or anything at all - just check them in and out with their adult coach when you need to.
How do I see my receipt or what I ordered?
A. When you make an order you will get an email from Squarespace that will let you know exactly what you ordered. If you can’t find it, search your email for Squarespace. If it got deleted you can email ohanaselfdefense@gmail.com and ask that we resend it to you.
It’s tax season and I need your FEIN and GE
A. Federal EIN 82-2460239
State GE-128-036-1472-01
Is my child going to get too sunburned on a field all day?
A. Each family knows what their child needs to not get burned and should send it. Hats, sunscreen, long sleeves. We remind the campers throughout the day to reapply if they need to. On hot days we take more breaks and try to run more activities in the shade. If your camper is sun sensitive, but wants to do sports camp you can let us know so we can keep an eye on them and encourage more shade time through out the day.
